Corinne is a textile artist with a background in costume and
stage design.
Most of her current work has been inspired by a series of journeys
to other lands, in particular the vibrant patterns and colours
of Asia and South America.
She creates many different materials for use in her work such
as hand-painted velvets, dyed wools, hand-made felt and applique
as well as collecting vintage fabrics, old beads and buttons.
All of this provides her with a rich palette of colours and textures
to incorporate into her large-scale textile flowers, wall-hangings
cushions and lanterns as well as various accessories such as
bags, scarves, hats and corsages.
